3 Things.

1. Today I'm over on Caila Made, talking about one of my very favorite fall patterns. Head here to see more and find out what the pattern is. (From my very favorite sewing book ever!) And if you don't know Caila, be sure to look around her blog. She is a really creative up-and-comer.

2. Today starts the voting on the Project Run & Play finale! Go and make sure you vote for your favorite. Such great stuff!

3. Did you catch all four stockings in the Holiday Craft Bash this week? I'm working on my Elf-inspired tree skirt now, and will have the tutorial ready to share with you on Monday. In the meantime, check out these great stocking tutorials, get inspired, and join the Flickr group for a chance at great prizes.

Ok, 4 things: I feel the need to tell you that I'm about to watch the season finale of project runway from last night, but not because I'm excited about it. Only out of obligation because I put my time in during the rest of the season. But I'm not really rooting for anyone. Sadness. I shall sooth myself with more sewing. (Maybe work on some Film Petit!)

  1. I know what you mean about Project Runway. This is the first season that I haven't felt like rooting for any of their final collections. What happened? I think I liked most of the challenge outfits better than the collections. I hope the next season of All-Stars is more fun to watch.

  2. I love the Bumble stocking, my fave!

I usually fizzle out on the finales for Project Runway and am never too excited about them. It is all about the weekly challenges that make it exciting for me to watch. I still need to watch last night's too.

  3. Thanks so much for your guest post today, Jessica! I just love, love, love those hoods. Must buy the book! And you've reminded me that I bet head over to Project Run and Play to vote... :)

  4. elsie is the cutest in the world... i want her to marry henry! ;) xo

  5. PERFECT bat hood! Think it'll work as an elephant? Anyway now I need some of that Tula Pink fabric.

  6. Elsie is so cute!

I'm not thrilled about anyone's collections either. But I do like Christopher and Melissa. I'm watching tonight too!

  7. Just came over from Caila Made -- love your bat hood! (I totally want to make one for both of my kids now.) Beautiful blog. Newest follower! :)

  8. I love the hood! Tula Pink ears! Perfect.
